  Studying with a JW, need info about Watchtower doctrine.

  my spouse was raised as a jw but is now free from the "organization".

  i've got a ton of in-laws who are still jw's, but have noticed that a lot of the younger ones are starting to slowly realize something is not right in the so called "truth".

  i've been studying off and on with one of the relatives and planting little seeds of doubt.

  How many religions have been started by former JW's?

  serious question.

  this seems to be a myth that exists among jw's.

  they claim apostates have left and started their own religions.

  Jesus is NOT the Mediator for the Great Crowd?

  so according to the watchtower, jesus is not the mediator for the great crowd.

  evidently jesus is only mediator for the anointed.

  this means that about 99.9% of jehovahs witnesses cant say that jesus is their mediator.

  Advice needed about my study with a JW.

  i've never been a jw, and i'm having a difficult time trying to understand the perspective of a born-in jw.

  i want to ask questions that will cause this family member to began to think outside the box, but i don't want to trip off any apostate alarms and have him put his guard up.

  i also don't want to waste time and energy asking questions that he can easily brush off and give the prepackaged watchtower answer without having to really think.

  i'm in the middle of a bible watchtower publication study with one of them who thinks i'm interested in joining the religion.

  does anyone know offhand what the watchtower teaches about dinosaurs?

  according to the society, did humans and dinosaurs exist together before the flood?

  i dont have a wt cd to research from, how could i go about getting a cd?

  help me out here, ive never been a jw (family are in the cult) but im trying to fully understand the madness that is their doctrine and subsequent mind control over their captive members.

  its seems logical that they will eventually abandon the 144,000 doctrine as being a literal number.

  time is the enemy of a false prophet.

  my spouse was born and raised in the cult, disfellowshipped as a young adult and is now completely shunned by family still trapped inside.

  before i met my spouse i knew very little about the jws.
